1: Services Provided

Alpha Driving School provides manual and automatic driving instruction to learner drivers preparing for the DVLA practical driving test. Our instructors are fully qualified, insured, and ADI (Approved Driving Instructor) registered.

2: Booking and Cancellation

Booking a Lesson

• Lessons must be booked in advance via phone, email, or our website
• A confirmed booking is only valid once we have received your booking details and confirmation
• You must hold a valid provisional driving licence to receive lessons

Cancellation Policy

• Student Cancellations: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will be charged in full
• Rescheduling: Lessons cancelled with 24+ hours notice can be rescheduled at no charge (subject to instructor availability)
• Instructor Cancellations: In the event we must cancel, we will provide alternative lesson times or a full refund
• Unforeseen Circumstances: In exceptional cases (severe weather, emergency, illness), cancellations may be reconsidered

3: Payment Terms

• Lesson fees are due in full at the time of booking or as agreed upon with the instructor
• Payment methods accepted: Cash, bank transfer, card payments via secure payment gateway
• Invoices will be provided upon request for business or tax purposes
• No refunds for lessons completed. Refunds for cancelled lessons follow the cancellation policy above
• Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice

4: Student Responsibilities

• You must hold a valid provisional driving licence during all lessons
• You are responsible for insurance on the instructional vehicle if required by your insurer
• Arrive on time for scheduled lessons (late arrivals will not extend the lesson duration)
• Inform the instructor of any medical conditions or medications that may affect your driving
• Comply with traffic laws and driving regulations during lessons
• Treat the vehicle and instructor with respect and professionalism
• No smoking, alcohol, or illegal substances are permitted before or during lessons

5: Instructor Conduct and Authority

• Our instructors are professional, qualified, and committed to your safety
• Instructors have the authority to terminate any lesson if they believe the student is unsafe or unfit to drive
• The instructor may decline to continue lessons if the student's behaviour or conduct is inappropriate
• Safety is our absolute priority; the instructor's decision on safety matters is final

6: Health, Safety & Liability

• All vehicles are fully insured and maintained to the highest safety standards
• Students drive at their own risk during lessons
• Alpha Driving School is not responsible for traffic penalties, fines, or points incurred during lessons (unless caused by instructor negligence)
• We are not liable for personal injury, property damage, or loss except where caused by our negligence
• Students must inform us of any health conditions or disabilities that may affect driving ability

7: Data Protection and Confidentiality

• Your personal data is protected under our Privacy Policy (available at privacy-policy.php)
• We will not share your information with third parties except as required by law
• Lesson records may be kept for administrative and legal compliance purposes

8: Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, images, videos, and materials provided during lessons, are the intellectual property of Alpha Driving School. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use this content without permission.

9: Website Terms of Use

• You agree to use this website lawfully and in accordance with these terms
• You will not engage in any activity that could damage, disable, or interfere with the website
• We reserve the right to refuse service or remove access to anyone violating these terms
• The website is provided on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind

10: Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alpha Driving School shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services or website.

11: Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall first be addressed through direct communication. If unresolved, disputes may be escalated to mediation or legal proceedings in accordance with UK law.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in England and Wales.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page, and your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
